APR for each score range is a typical figure inside the ranges on our rates page. It is not a quote.
How to read the result
The monthly payment assumes equal monthly installments and a fixed APR with no extra fees. Real offers may use weekly or biweekly payments that line up with your paydays, and some include an origination fee taken out of the loan. The total of payments on your lender's disclosure is the number to trust.
The bar shows how much of what you repay is interest. Longer terms lower the monthly payment but raise that share. If the payment only fits at a long term, consider borrowing less.
What about very high APRs?
The calculator uses APRs from lenders that quote under 36%. Many short-term lenders, including tribal lenders such as Deer Creek Lending, charge far more. On our rates page you can see what 99%, 199%, 400% and 600% APR cost on $1,000.
Payments for common amounts
See payment tables and cheaper options for $500, $1,000, $2,000 and $5,000 loans.
Will it fit your budget?
Test the payment against your tightest month. A common guideline is to keep all debt payments, including this one, under about a third of your take-home pay. If it does not fit, a smaller amount or a cheaper source such as a credit union payday alternative loan may be the better move.
