About this service

Is this Deer Creek Lending's website?

No. DeerCreekLendingApply.com is an independent loan-request service and is not affiliated with Deer Creek Lending, DCH Inc. or the Iipay Nation of Santa Ysabel. To apply with Deer Creek Lending or manage a Deer Creek Lending loan, use that company's own website.

Are you a lender?

No. We pass your request to lenders and lending partners. They decide whether to make an offer and set the amount, rate and terms.

Can you help with my existing Deer Creek Lending loan?

No. We cannot see or change a Deer Creek Lending account. Contact Deer Creek Lending directly about payments, payoff amounts or hardship options.

How do you make money?

Lenders and partners may pay us when you submit a request or take a loan. You never pay us a fee.

Applying

How much can I request?

Between $200 and $5,000. Lenders may offer less depending on your profile and state limits.

Will checking hurt my credit?

Submitting a request does not affect your FICO score. A lender may run a hard inquiry if you choose its offer and finish its application.

What do I need to apply?

Usually ID, an SSN, regular income and a checking account in your name. See requirements.

Can I apply with bad credit?

Yes. Some lenders weigh income and bank history. Expect higher APRs with lower scores and compare the total cost.

Who will contact me?

Lenders and partners who receive your request may call, text or email you about offers. You can opt out at any time.

Costs and repayment

What APR will I get?

It depends on the lender, your state and your credit. Installment lenders commonly quote about 5.99% to 35.99%, while some short-term and tribal lenders charge several hundred percent. You will see the APR before you sign.

Do you charge any fees?

No. Lenders may charge origination, late or returned-payment fees, which they must disclose.

Can I pay off early?

Most lenders allow it with no prepayment penalty, which lowers the interest you pay. Check your agreement.

What if I cannot make a payment?

Contact your lender before the due date. Many can move a date or set up a plan. Free help is available from the National Foundation for Credit Counseling at 1-800-388-2227.

Funding

How fast will I get money?

Often as soon as the next business day after you are approved and sign. Weekends and holidays add time.

Where is the money sent?

To the checking account you give the lender, usually by ACH transfer.
