The short answer

You send one free request, lenders that serve your state review it, and if one can help you see its full cost before you sign. Funding often comes the next business day.

What happens when you send a request

DeerCreekLendingApply.com is a loan-request service. You fill in one form, and we pass your details to lenders and lending partners who say they can lend in your state. If one of them can work with your request, it shows you an offer. You decide whether to accept it, and your loan agreement is with that lender, not with us.

That is different from applying directly with a single lender such as Deer Creek Lending. A direct lender can only say yes or no to its own product. A request through us gives several lenders the chance to respond, which is useful when you want to compare before you commit.

The four steps, in order

  1. Fill in the request. You give the amount you need ($200 to $5,000), your contact details, income, how often you are paid, and the checking account where your pay is deposited. Most people finish in about five minutes.
  2. Lenders review it. Your request goes to lenders and partners that serve your state. Many start with a soft credit inquiry, which does not change your score. Some also check alternative credit data or your bank history.
  3. You see an offer. If a lender can help, you are taken to its offer page. Federal law requires it to show the APR, the finance charge in dollars, the amount financed and the total of payments before you sign. Read them, and decline anything that does not fit your budget.
  4. You sign and get funded. If you accept, you finish the lender's own application, which may include ID checks and a hard credit inquiry. Once approved and signed, many lenders deposit the money by the next business day.

After you submit

Expect a lender or partner to contact you by phone, text or email, sometimes within minutes. If no lender in the network can serve your request, you will be told so. You do not have to accept any offer, and you can stop contact at any time by replying STOP to texts or asking the caller to remove you.

A real lender never asks for an upfront fee to approve or release a loan. Anyone asking for a gift card, a wire or a "processing fee" before you get money is running a scam. Hang up and report it.

Request service or direct lender?

Applying straight to a lender like Deer Creek Lending means one decision, one price and usually less contact afterward. Sending a request through a service like ours means more chances of an offer and a way to compare, but more lenders and partners will see your details and may contact you. Neither is right for everyone.

What happens to your information

Your request is shared with lenders and lending partners so they can decide whether to make an offer, as our privacy policy explains. It travels over an encrypted connection. You can opt out of calls and texts at any time and ask us to delete your data.

After you are matched

A lender or partner may show you an offer on screen, call or email you, or ask you to finish an application on its own site. It may ask to verify income through your bank, confirm your ID with a photo, or run a hard credit check. Offers can expire, so if you plan to compare, do it within a day or two.

Questions

Do I have to accept an offer?

No. You can read any offer and walk away with nothing owed.

Is my information sold?

It is shared with lenders and lending partners so they can make offers, as our privacy policy explains. You can ask us to stop sharing or delete your data.

Can I apply on my phone?

Yes. The form works on any modern phone browser, and most lenders let you e-sign on your phone too.

How long does a loan request take?

About five minutes to fill in, and many people see a result within minutes. Funding usually follows the next business day after you sign.
